As a Legal Production Assistant in our Corporate Law and Compliance area, individuals have the opportunity to partner with and support our most dynamic and fastest growing teams within the organization.

 

Here are few examples of responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the daily office activities: balancing incoming calls, incoming and outgoing mail and monitoring/ordering supplies.
  • Assist teams with administrative needs, expenses and scheduling arrangements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure a productive environment.
  • Dedicate a portion of time to project work as requested by leadership team.
  • Under limited supervision, deliver a full range of administrative services to leaders or key staff members in a department.
  • Within general guidelines, make independent decisions about planning, organizing and scheduling of own work.

Success in this position requires strong communication, critical thinking to identify and implement solutions and interpersonal skills to build relationships to work collaboratively with leaders and overall team.

Who You Are
  • 2+ years experience as a Legal Production Assistant or equivalent administrative experience required (Financial Service or legal/compliance a plus).
  • Must have good knowledge of law and legal procedures to review and analyze contracts, agreements, legal memoranda, investment and court documents, and inquiries.
  • Requires good judgment, good communications skills, and the ability to work well both individually and with others to meet strict deadlines.
  • Must have or be able to quickly develop skills in legal terminology and concepts.
  • Good computer, typing (45-55 CWPM), transcription and spelling/grammar skills needed.
  • Must ensure strict confidentiality in the handling of all legal or sensitive material.

  • Requires at least 4 years as a Legal Production Assistant or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of law and legal procedures to review and analyze contracts, agreements, legal memoranda, investments and court documents, and inquiries.
Salary Range InformationSalary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)$23.29 - $37.45 / hourTime Off ProgramPersonal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period. This role will be located at our Des Moines, IA downtown corporate offices. 

Work Environments

This role offers a hybrid work environment, blending at least three office days in a typical workweek.
