Job Title:  Multimedia Intern

Location: West Des Moines

Terms: 12 weeks, full-time flexible 37.5 hours/week, in-office

Pay: $21/hour

Start Date: Monday, May 19th (can be flexible)

End Date: Friday, August 8th (can be flexible)

You'll assist in photo and video shoots, brainstorm new ideas, and collaborate with a talented team of marketing professionals. What You Will Do:

Design Visual Content: Create compelling visuals for both digital and print formats, including employee communications, corporate announcements, press releases, recruiting materials, social media posts, and print materials such as content covers, brochures, and banners.
Support Photo and Video Shoots: Assist with setting up, editing, organizing, and participating in photo and video shoots.
Brainstorm Creative Ideas: Contribute innovative ideas for photos, videos, and visual content that align with company goals.
Collaborate with a Talented Team: Work closely with a dynamic marketing department of over 10 skilled professionals who collaborate cross-departmentally to elevate the company’s image.

What Sets You Apart
Strong Academic Performance and Relevant Coursework: - A proven commitment to excellence through your academic achievements, including coursework in a major relevant to the role such as Graphic Design or Multimedia Design.
Previous Work Experience - Work experience, in a corporate environment or not, that showcases your skills and work ethic.
Portfolio Showcasing Design Skills: A strong ability to visualize and create attractive graphics, backed by a diverse design portfolio that highlights your exceptional skills across both print and digital media.
Professional Development - Additional trainings, certifications, or workshops that enhance your qualifications.
Adobe Creative Cloud Proficiency: You’re skilled in using Adobe Creative Cloud programs, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Bridge, to produce high-quality design work.

Leadership and Initiative - Roles or projects where you’ve taken on leadership responsibilities, demonstrated creativity, and proactively addressed challenges.
