Audit and Assurance Manager

One of our clients is seeking an Audit & Assurance Manager to join their team!

This is a full time, direct hire opportunity where you will earn up to $130,000 per year based on your experience. Plus enjoy an excellent benefits package!

Some of your responsibilities as Audit & Assurance Manager include supervising staff as well as:

  • Reviewing reports
  • Ensuring that financial statements, tax returns, and letters of recommendations are prepared correctly
  • Managing all phases of an audit, compilation, or review engagement
  • Preparing engagement letters
  • Evaluating internal controls and work programs
  • Conducting performance evaluations
  • Maintaining records and control files
  • Maintaining contact with clients
  • Preparing invoices to clients
  • Communicating details of fees to clients
  • Preparing reports and projects
  • Collecting payment on overdue accounts
  • Adhering to engagement time budgets
  • Analyzing problems and suggesting solutions
  • Maintaining a knowledge of general economic and political trends
  • Performing multiple tasks concurrently
  • Participating in career development programs
  • Occasional travel
  • Occasional overtime
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned

To qualify, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. As well as the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (Master’s degree in taxation preferred)
  • 5+ years’ experience in public accounting
  • Ability to being new business to a CPA firm
  • Valid and current CPA license
  • 40+ hours of yearly continuing education
  • American Institute of CPAs member
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong organizational skills
