Our client seeks a Senior Tax Accountant to work in their office in West Des Moines, Iowa.

This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity where you will earn up to $110,000/year based on your experience. You will enjoy a competitive benefits package. You will work Monday-Friday; 50 hours during busy season, 35 hours during non-busy season. This position is 100% in office.

To qualify for the Senior Tax Accountant position, you must have three (3) years of tax accounting experience. In addition, we require:

BA in Accounting
CPA
3+ years of experience in tax
Strong understanding of IRS regulations
Experience with tax compliance procedures

Some of your responsibilities as a Senior Tax Accountant includes tax return preparation and planning for small business. In addition, you will be responsible for:

Preparing tax strategies
Tax planning
Managing corporate taxes
Working with clients
Conducting research
Other duties as assigned
